Coaching is More than Just Training Positivity Compliance
The Skill Nobody Teaches Coaches

Most coach training programs focus on tools. Scripts. Frameworks. Methods that look good on paper and sound impressive in conversation.
Very few teach capacity.
Capacity is the ability to stay present when a client is not regulated, not clear, and not performing their healing correctly. It is the ability to sit with grief without rushing it into meaning. It is the ability to hear anger without trying to soften it. It is the ability to remain grounded when identity, power, trauma, or systemic reality enters the room.
This is not a personality trait. It is a skill. And it can be trained.
The Coaching Guild exists because the coaching industry keeps confusing confidence with competence. A coach can be articulate, well-branded, and deeply unprepared to hold real human complexity. When that happens, clients are subtly pressured to self-regulate for the coach. They are nudged toward positivity. They are steered away from truth. They are taught to adapt rather than to integrate.
That is not ethical coaching.
Ethical coaching requires emotional capacity. It requires identity awareness. It requires the ability to notice power dynamics without collapsing into guilt or defensiveness. It requires a nervous system that does not need the client to be easy, agreeable, or inspirational.
This is what we train.
The Coaching Guild is a coach training program rooted in depth, emotional literacy, and liberation-based practice. We train coaches to work without bypass, without performance, and without asking clients to abandon themselves in order to be coached.
This is the work.
If you are a coach who knows there is more required than tools, or if you are becoming one and want to build real competence from the beginning, this is the work we do together.
If you want details about the next Coaching Guild cohort, reply to this email or reach out privately. I will send you the information, and we can see if it is the right fit.
